Here, you'll be involved in supporting people in an innovative, person-centred way that really offers individuals tailored quality support.
Together, we'll face many challenges at Marloes Walk because our individual's needs can be constantly changing. You'll provide strong clinical support as part of our nursing team, helping to deliver an exceptional service to the most vulnerable people. In fact, you'll be in charge of a shift and managing a team of Support Workers by example.
A skilled and experienced nurse when it comes to looking after people with learning disabilities, your challenge will be to clinically drive and develop our service. You'll focus on making it the most outstanding service possible for everyone who uses it so that they each receive an uninterrupted programme of care.
We're looking for a talented and suitably qualified nurse (RNLD, RGN or RMN), with hands-on clinical knowledge and experience of leading and directing a team. As one of our nurses, we also expect you to share our innovative approach and passion for person-centred care. Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council, you'll be able to use clear clinical judgement and encourage a culture of ongoing improvement, and you'll need an up-to-date knowledge of the wider Learning Disability sector, including current legislation. It is also important to be able to work within a larger team of other professionals, such as GP's, Dieticians, Physiotherapists

Shift pattern: 7am – 2.30pm, 2pm- 9.30pm, 9.15pm- 7.15am – There is also a requirement to take part in an on call rota
