Always staffed with a minimum of 2 nurses, 5 specially trained carers an Occupational Therapist and Physio this is excellent opportunity for any nurse to develop a specialist skillset in an environment of clinical excellence.
Our client is committed to provision of learning and development opportunities to all their staff to include the mentorship course, orthopaedic course and spinal injuries course to name a few. They will train you to become a confident experienced nurse in the field of caring for someone with a spinal cord injury.
Candidates are welcome from all nursing backgrounds as spinal cord injury experience is not necessary initially, as you will be supported by experienced staff on every shift.
Responsibilities for this Registered Nurse role will include:
Assess needs, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing care
Provide healthcare advice through educating patients, carers and families
Carry out clinical nursing procedures
Work collaboratively with other members of the health and social care team
The ideal candidate for this Registered Nurse role will:
Hold a current Nursing pin – Essential, either RGN, RMN or RNLD
