Our opportunity is with an award-winning Charity, that provides specialist care and support services to older people and adults with a learning disability.
Due to an exciting period of transformation to ensure the Charity is fit for the future needs of its residents; We have an opportunity for a Clinical Quality Manager with an active pin to support all of our services with clinical audits and comprehensive inspections. The ideal Clinical Quality Manager will be able to offer 'hands on support, coaching and developing to staff and the clinical team to improve the outcomes of the people we support.
About The Role:
To improve the Quality outcomes of all services through inspections, support and oversight.
To provide clinical support, including mentorship and oversight in relation to medication management, clinical concerns and the care planning process.
To provide support and information to senior and registered managers to enable effective responses to internal and regulatory Inspections.
To identify a clinical needs training analysis of nursing homes within the Trust
To work closely with the Learning and Development team to provide input into the development and delivery of clinical training within the organisation
To maintain professional development and knowledge so that practice remains up to date and reflects best practice.
To contribute to clinical polices and ensure clinical policies are embedded throughout the nursing homes.
To work closely with the Operational teams to ensure a consistent and robust approach to best practice in the provision of resident Safety and Quality.What we need from you:
Registered Nurse (Active PIN)
Experience of UK healthcare regulation and full understanding of the principles of regulation and compliance.
Experience in a management role in a care home either as Registered Manager, Support manager or Quality Manager.
Clinical audit and effectiveness experience.
Skills in collating, compiling and analysing complex data.
Excellent report writing skills
Excellent communication skills verbal skills at all levels within an organisation
IT skills; Word processing, spread sheets, databases and presentation software.
Knowledge of UK wide regulatory requirements, standards and legislation
Audit and research skills
Ability to facilitate change and influence managers and staff.
Project management skills
Teaching and presentation skills
Detailed knowledge of healthcare delivery across a range of services
Capable of working on their own initiative and under guidance and as part of a team.
Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to prioritise.
Coaching and mentorship skills
Tenacious, methodical and solution focused.
Flexible with working and commuting arrangements.
