Work as Nurse Unit Manager for one of the most highly regarded care Homes Henley-on-Thames has to offer. A fantastic opportunity to enjoy autonomously running a recently commissioned 25 bedded nursing unit as 'Second Nurse' that provides expert nursing care for the elderly.
This flagship luxury home is owned by a progressive care provider who have a fleet of 22 care homes. They have recently celebrated a number of awards and nominations at the Great British Care awards and looking to the future have exciting plans to open a further 5 new homes.
As Nurse Unit Manager you will have both clinical and supernumerary responsibilities, working within a well-seasoned Management team. You will work closely with your clinical team, carers and in-house Physio's and Occupational Therapists to give your residents the very best person centered care.
Responsibilities of Nurse Unit Manager will include:
Manage the care assessment process to ensure each individual in your care has the appropriate level of clinical care and support
Communicating regularly with families, GPs and other multi agency professionals.
To ensure effective induction of all staff, together with clinical supervision of RNs and induction of new care staff.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to work for a highly regarded care home, be rewarded with an attractive salary of 20.30ph and receive a market leading benefits package.

Full support with NMC re-validationThe ideal candidate to fulfil the role of Nurse Unit Manager will:
Hold a current Nursing pin – Essential, either RGN, RMN or RNLD
Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
