St Elizabeth’s Centre is a specialist Centre providing holistic care together with learning, leisure and other opportunities for adults and children with severe epilepsy, learning difficulties and complex health needs. Our Health Agency provides a range of Learning Disability, Epilepsy Specialist Nurses, Mental Health and Paediatric nursing alongside therapy to support our residents. We also work in partnership with GP’s, Psychiatrists, and lead Neurologists from both Great Ormond Street and the National Hospital for Epilepsy. Established since 1903, we have a proven track record in providing specialist health support and are committed to promoting the service as a centre of excellence.
Position: Deputy Nurse Manager
Location: St Elizabeth's Centre, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire
Job type: 37.5 hours per week. This will include one weekend every 4 weeks and one late shift per week
Salary: £44,406 to £49,239 per annum

About the Role:
As a Deputy Manager you will be working alongside the Nurse Manager and will be required to assist with the line management of a team of staff and have knowledge, understanding and experience of relevant legislation ensuring they comply with the requirements of CQC and other statutory regulators. The post holder will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all residents and manage the service to the highest standards.
We are looking for a confident, passionate individual, who has experience as a band 7 NMC registered nurse. You will need to have some experience within a management and leadership role, and the opportunity to gain a management qualification will be given to the right candidate.
