Clinical Nurse Specialist Job Description
Radis Group have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6/7 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team based in the Midlands.
Radis Group is a well-established and successful family run care company which has been delivering high quality care and support in excess of 30 Local Authorities in England and Wales.
The role of Radis is to provide outcome focused, re-enabling care for a range of Service Users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. The care provided is client-centred and ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.
About Clinical Nurse Specialist Role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be undertaking care assessments and clinical risk assessments whilst providing advice and guidance to the wider business. You will be the clinical lead for complex packages in the areas covered, ensuring a team of Support Workers are both theory and practically trained and up to date in conjunction with specific client care.
You will be working as part of a wide MDT including commissioners, GP’s, family members and community professionals. The successful candidate will ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable adults are reported according to policies and procedures. There will be the opportunity to develop your own teaching skills and participate in staff education programmes and developing training profiles for each Radis Complex Care client. The role will include Maintaining, reviewing and auditing all client clinical documentation in the service and at the CQC/CSSIW Registered Office.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role
We are looking for a self-motivated, professional Registered General Nurse with experience of delivering training and Ideally, experience with complex clients in a community setting. Excellent communication skills are required with a willingness to work toward PTLLS qualification. This role will involve some out of hours and overnight working when required. There will be travel involved over a large geographical area so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
